While we were out running errands yesterday, the husband said we should go to Florida. There were no introductions to prepare me for it either. I know he is very impulsive which is one of the things I love and does not like about him but blurting out about going to Florida without even any reason is crazy. He said he is tired of the cold. It is not good for our health. But when I told him it might even be cold in Florida right now because of this cold spell he dismissed it like some kind of lunatic rambling. How could it get cold in Florida? Right. I told him as much as I want to go and have hoped for Disney vacations (I have never been to Disney, only at Universal Studio) I cannot allow us to go for financial and health reasons. How could anybody especially me, enjoy a mini-vacation no matter how I long for it, when everybody is not feeling good? And then there is the issue of money. We have to have pocket money to spend on food and lodging and gas. One of these days I would love to go though. When we have the money to spend eating out (this is one thing I look forward to when on vacations) without worrying about where to get the money to pay the bills when we get back. For now, we are staying home and keeping our sick selves warm and that is that.
