• 28 Jul 2008 /  french maid costume, lingerie

It is funny because when I think about French maid costumes I think about its meaning literally. I mean maid is what we call the house help in PI. And if they are working for the really rich people they have their own uniforms they wear that is tailored for the work they do, with aprons too so as to prevent their dress from being soiled after a hard days work. The naive person that I am didn’t think that the word French maid costumes may mean another thing and that is a provocative and sexy lingerie a woman might use to entice their man. I wonder what the husband will think if I ever wear one?

  • 28 Jul 2008 /  brisk walking, health

The husband and Iwent brisk walking twice last weekend and it felt good. We put our little man in the stroller which made him a little upset at first but when he realized that mama and dada were firm on their goal to brisk walk he settled down and enjoyed the walk. It was tiring but we both felt better afterwards. We want to do this daily if we can and we hope we will. If not then maybe several times in a week. It feels good to be out and to walk for miles again. We have to make up for our son though for not letting him play in the sand.

  • 26 Jul 2008 /  family trip, passport, vacation

When our son was ten months old we applied for his passport in preparation for our supposed trip to the Philippines this year. The trip is moved next year because the husband cannot go with us and he doesn’t like the idea of me and bubby on an almost 24 hours trip. Bubby’s passport is good for five years though so we are good to go. We just need to wait for the right time for us to travel. My parents are anticipating their first grandson’s arrival. They are already preparing for us by trying to fix my room to where my husband and son will be comfortable when we get there.

  • I ordered tagalog pocketbooks for my mamsy’s birthday. I chanced upon this website online which sells Precious Hearts Romances, a leading publication for tagalog romance pocketbooks and so I ordered a few from the author Martha Cecilia’s popular books. I have given up hope that it will get there in time for her birthday because the person who took my order said it won’t be until August when they can round up my order. Thankfully they were able to look for the books and so they had it shipped to Leyte on the 21st and got there on the 22nd which was mamsy’s day. She didn’t get it that day though because she was busy at home but she did the next day and she seemed happy about it. Next time I will get her the Kristine Series but I have to save up for that. Income is a little low right now because of my blogs losing page rank but I will try to work more so I can give them more.

Even if his daughter keeps on urging my husband for us to get life insurance the latter is firm in saying no for it. It might have been something him and my father talked about when he visited me and the family in Manila. Whatever it is I support his decision. I am sure if he ever changes his mind it will be easy for us to shop around what with how easy it is to get life insurance quotes online.

    26 Jul 2008 /  cleaning up

I helped the husband clean the yard today and boy am I tired. I did the mowing and he used the weed eater to trim the branches near the fence. It is kinda hard to push the mower but I like to watch the grass being trimmed when I did. Iknow this sounds crazy but it is true. We also bagged the dried leaves and we are pretty happy with the result. I then asked hubby’s help in setting up his son’s mini pool and we let bubby play in it for a while. Even if we didn’t go anywhere today I still feel good.

I did some cleaning today. My head hurts when I see clutter everywhere. Never mind the toys that my son scatters around because I am used to collecting them and putting them in his toy box. I get aggravated with dirt and dust and sometimes dried leaves in the carpet because my boy likes to drag his blankies which he happens to chew on now that he is teething again. So you now see why I even have to rant here. I know tracking in dirt couldn’t be helped because we have to go in and out one way or another. But anyways I am finished cleaning and so everything is speck and span now.

    23 Jul 2008 /  moving service

My stepdaughter and her family is going to move again soon. They had problems with the house they bought and decided to let it go and just looked for another place to rent. They will move next weekend. They have a lot of stuff which means they might have to avail of moving services so as to make the transfer in one day. We will probably help them when the husband has the time. This should be the fifth time they moved in two years. Pretty tiring but then they are constantly looking for a place to suit well with a toddler and a month old baby. Let’s hope this will be the last for the time being.
