I decided it is time for bubby to eat in the table. He is still strapped in his high chair because I still have to get him a booster seat for the dining chair. I dragged his high chair in the dining table, put his food and sippy cup in front of him and he is now enjoying dinner like a big guy. I can tell he is happy with it too. He didn’t try to throw his plate in the floor and that I think is a big improvement. I will try to make him do it more and more so when I get the chance to buy a booster seat he will be comfortable with it. Now if he will only eat table food I would be very happy. But as it is he only eats macaroni and everything with cheese in it. He likes the ravioli’s that we buy from the store for him. And occasional servings of rice (a grain or two), fried chicken, vegetables mostly carrots and beans, and a few bits and pieces here and there. I know we will get there in time. I just have to be patient.

day 3 and 4
Comments Off26 Jun 2008 / UncategorizedI have tried to minimize my food intake and I think I am doing good. I only eat when I have to not because I want to. And I try to eat a little portion at a time. Though the other day I ate a lot of rice because I had chicken adobo as viand and boy was that good. I didn’t realize I missed eating adobo. I am satiated now so next time hopefully won’t be too bad. I still don’t know if this diet thing will work but there is really no harm in trying is there? I will keep you all posted. Or at least those who are interested enough to know.

Wasn’t so good. I got so hungry I ate a few more bites than I should have. I didn’t gorge though. You see, the problem is I have gotten used to eating a lot that when I eat the usual serving I don’t feel full. It will take a little time for me to get used to this but I know I will. I made it when I was in high school I can do it now. My small and medium sized clothes are waiting for me. The clothes still fit but I hate to see the bulge in my stomach and on my sides. So I have to do something to tone this baggy tummy down. I pray for strength to work on my goal.

day one
Comments Off23 Jun 2008 / health, losing weightI am on day one of my self imposed diet. I thought about losing a few more pounds so I will be comfortable with my body. I am at a point where I don’t like to look at myself in the mirror. I am not obese. In fact my weight is normal when I computed my body mass index. It is just that I am not used to being this heavy. I want to lose just a few pounds enough that I won’t be consider underweight. Maybe enough for my old jeans and tight shorts to fit. My pre-pregnancy weight to be exact. I know I have to start a few stretches and exercise for my tummy to tone down since it is kinda baggy after I gave birth. I don’t know about the exercise yet but I know I have to stop eating at every chance I get even if I am not hungry because when I get used to it then I will be in trouble. Hopefully I will have the strength to stick to my goal. It is getting hot where we’re at and I need this to look good in a bikini. Anyways, wish me luck, will you? I need it bad.

update
Comments Off12 Jun 2008 / UncategorizedI am trying to update my blogs because I have been lax in doing it. Sometimes I favor some than the others and it makes me feel bad. I have been pretty lazy the last few days. I feel so sleepy during the day which isn’t very normal at all because I don’t like to sleep when the sun is up. Bubby is his usual inquisitive self, won’t listen no matter how many times I say it is not safe to try to flip the porch light switch when he is standing on the edge of the couch. His attitude is not good for my blood pressure. I am afraid he is going to get hurt. He is also now back to picking things from the floor and putting everything in his mouth that I have to vacuum the carpet every now and then to make sure there is nothing harmful in it he can get hold of.
Anyways, enough yapping. I have a few blogs that needs to be updated. See you all later.

I think most mothers want their kids to enjoy their childhood at the same time enjoying motherhood. We like to dress them up, buy them toys, spoil them rotten. But we must admit we like it. It is fun and makes happy memories when they are older. That is why there are different stores that sells kids costumes and toys because us moms just couldn’t seem to stop buying for our little ones. I remember last year I really wanted to buy bubby his first Halloween Costume but I didn’t because I don’t know where to go trick or treating and I know he wouldn’t like it. My boy is very loud too when he isn’t comfortable. But now that he is older and I have gained a few friends, maybe it is time to get bubby one. He will love it I am sure since mama will be taking pictures and he loves to pose for the camera. I can’t wait.
