I planned on cleaning one car every day for three days but I did not get to do it. After the SUV, I did not do any car cleaning anymore. The Jeep still needs to be vacuumed and the white car is in dire need of scrubbing. The weather is cool and should have prompted me to do what I set out to do but like I said, I am not doing it. I am not lazy, I just didn’t do it and the husband is not ordering me to work either. He said to take my time. I guess he is happy with what I did with the SUV that he is not going to impose on me cleaning more vehicles. I know I will eventually have to clean up because no matter if our cars are not expensive they do need to be taken cared of. Not only Ferrari parts need cleaning, even inexpensive yet dependable cars need to be pampered too. I better finish up the task before it starts getting too cold though. Maybe one day next week  I will do what needs to be done. I will consider this week a holiday of sorts for me :)

Today, I decided to clean our car. I have been meaning to for weeks but did not get around to doing it until this evening. I started out with the SUV with the plan of doing one car every day for the next three days. I vacuumed the inside of the car after I took all loose papers, toys, condiments from fast-foods, pens, coins, and a lot more debris. The husband brought a couple cleaners out to use for the windows, dash, and the seats. I had a good time cleaning because the car was just in the carport and the breeze somewhat cool. I did not stop until the car was clean and smelled better. After the inside, he backed the car to the driveway where I start to wash it from the wheels to the roof. I could say I did a good job which the husband commended. He thanked me for doing it for us. I told him I could not take the clutter anymore and I did the favor for the three of us. Tomorrow, I will do the Jeep.

I will be having the baby in January. That is what my doctor told me. She said since I had C-section before, it will be easier to do it the same way with the next baby. I think she is right. I am too small to do it normal and I did try it before but it did not work. It is easier but not cheaper. We will just have to think of it as part of having kids and raising a family :D Anyway, the husband, if he gets his way, wants us to go on a vacation before I give birth. He said we will be confined home once the little bundle arrives because it will happen in the middle of winter and I do need to stay home to recuperate. He has been looking at Branson vacation packages because he has never been to Missouri but I doubt we will be able to go yet. We do need to buy a few baby items and from what I have gathered, most of the items we need are expensive. If nobody will help us buy any of it then we will have to shoulder every single thing. The planned vacation will probably have to happen months after the delivery. I know we will go somehow but we do have to prioritize right now. Unless of course somebody comes forward and pays for it then we surely will go. Anybody?

The husband looked at me real hard the other day and blurted out that should I not slow down, I might just have a huge baby. I know he noticed that I am growing bigger by the day and I am only 19 weeks pregnant. I also dread what I will look like when I am on the third trimester of my pregnancy. My pre-pregnancy clothes are starting to get tight but my maternity clothes are a bit bigger still. I will have to do something about this. I know I have been eating a lot lately. I can’t help it, I am hungry all the time. I should start to portion my food though so there is no danger of eating too much. I told the husband to help keep an eye on me and tell me if he thinks I have had enough food. He said he will which I hope is true. He does not want to embarrass me but I think that is what I need to quit eating too  much. We will see how this works out. I may need to start walking again like I did on my first pregnancy. It should help with my metabolism too.

Staying at home all day has its bad side. Right now I am itching to shop while trying to convince myself that I do need the things that I am thinking of buying. Like a camcorder for instance. I have not taken pictures of the little man for a long time because he will not pose for me anymore so I thought a camcorder will be handy. I don’t need him to pose for me with a camcorder. It can go on while he is doing his thing inside the house or when we go out. Next on my list is a crib for the new baby. Now that we really need since the little man tore up his crib (don’t ask me how). I figured we also need a bassinet, infant carseat, toddler clothes (for the little man), and stuff for me. When you add it all up the amount is staggering which is making me sick just thinking about it. I should be relaxing right now but here I am torn between giving in to my whim and worrying about finances. This is not healthy. I should do something else but then that something will be food. Hays! I need a job or a new hobby that does not cost money.

I went to the store to look for maternity jeans in preparation for the coming cold months. The jeans are expensive and I doubt I will get any on sale but then it is a must for me to own at least a pair so I will not freeze this winter. I did not buy any yet but I already know which store to go that has jeans that are close to my size. Most stores have maternity jeans that are so big it is almost unreal. I mean, I know I was very big on the third trimester of my pregnancy with the little man but I was not huge enough to wear anything that is big even for my plus sized mom. The jeans that were labeled medium were so wide there was no way it would have stayed on me no matter how big I get. Thank goodness there are still stores that have more realistic sizes and I will go back there when I am ready to wear maternity jeans. As of now, I am still wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes although I already have my maternity clothes out for when I need them. Also, while I was at the store, I looked at boots for me and the little man. I saw really cute and what looks like really comfortable ugg boots that I would like to buy when I am ready. You would ask why I did not buy any of the mentioned items yet while I was out? Well, I just don’t need them yet. I know they will be there still when I am ready for another shopping trip. Besides, that will give me reason to go back to the mall :D

Today I craved for chicken wing barbecue and when I told the husband about it he said he was craving for grilled pork so we decided to buy a pack of chicken wings and a pack of pork chops. I have this trusted recipe site which offers almost accurate versions of the food I like so I went online and copied their recipe for marinating the wings. The husband opted for the easiest way, poured soy sauce on his chops and let it soak while waiting for the grill to get hot. I did not plan on eating the pork because for some reason I don’t like the smell and the taste much since I got pregnant but he offered me one piece and when I tasted it I was not able to stop myself. I ate the grilled pork chop paired with rice with gusto and was so thankful that the husband made the offer. For some reason, it seems like he knows me more than I do, lol. I saved the wings, which did not disappoint, for supper. I still have leftovers to eat tomorrow. I don’t know what we will crave in the next days but today was good enough and we are satisfied.

The living room is. The little man remembered his educational DVD’s that I have boxed up and asked me to get everything out so he could watch each one. And he has been watching the videos over and over again, alternately that is, which is a good thing because he learns from it. The only problem is like most toddlers, he does not clean up after his mess. He leaves discs, boxes, magnetic letters, markers, and activity books all over the living room carpet. It gets overwhelming to me so I clean up but mere minutes later the carpet is covered with the same things. He even has his chairs on the room with him all upside down for some purpose. It gives me headache thinking about it but then I would rather he do this than be online where he could watch age inappropriate videos. At least I know the videos we have are all child friendly. It is almost like he dominates that area of the house. We used to have table lamps on each side of the couch but since he unscrewed the switch and broke one of the shade in it, the lamps have been in hiding to recuperate. I am not losing hope that one of these days the lamps will be back on its own place though. Maybe after ten years? Lol. And that the little man will eventually learn how to pick up after his mess. But for now I will just have to pretend that the house is not littered with toys that are sometimes deadly to adults.
